Glycerol Ester of Gum Rosin

Rosin Resin is a slightly yellow transparent in appearance. It is produced using a special process and hence has a low odor, and acid number. These products are esterified with vegetable grade glycerol with either gum rosin, polymerized rosin, or hydrogenated rosin.Rosin is produced by the esterification from wood rosin and glycerol. There are two manufacturing processes for the purification of the wood rosin ester, depending on the purpose of uses, purified by steam stripping when used in gum, or purified by counter-current steam distillation if used in adjusting the density of citrus oils for beverages.

Application ：

This product is used for gum base of gum, packing adhesive of food industry. Food grade ester gum can be used as a chewing gum base component and an emulsifier or stabilizer/density adjustment agent for flavouring oils in beverages.
